These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the unsub mobile application (“unsub,” “App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) published by khadijah tisean.
By downloading, accessing, or using unsub, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Purpose of unsub
unsub is a personal subscription reminder and expense tracking tool. It allows users to manually enter information about recurring subscriptions, free trials, renewal dates, billing cycles, estimated amounts, categories, notes, and cancellation links.
unsub is designed to help users remember upcoming renewals and better understand their recurring subscription expenses.
2. No Automatic Cancellation
unsub does not automatically cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
unsub may allow you to save a website link, cancellation link, customer support contact, or personal note related to a subscription. However, you are solely responsible for visiting the relevant service provider, following its cancellation process, and confirming that a subscription has actually been cancelled.
We do not guarantee that any cancellation link, website, or instruction will be accurate, current, complete, or sufficient to cancel any third-party subscription.
3. Manual Data Entry
All subscription information is entered manually by you. You are responsible for making sure that the information you enter is accurate and up to date, including renewal dates, amounts, billing cycles, currencies, and cancellation notes.
unsub does not verify your subscription status with third-party service providers.
4. Notifications and Reminders
unsub may provide local reminders or notifications based on the renewal dates and reminder settings you choose.
You acknowledge that reminders may fail, arrive late, or not appear due to device settings, operating system restrictions, battery optimization, notification permissions, time zone changes, app removal, device errors, or other factors outside our control.
You remain solely responsible for monitoring your subscriptions, renewal dates, payment obligations, and cancellation deadlines.
5. No Financial, Legal, or Professional Advice
unsub is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice.
Any spending estimates, monthly totals, annual totals, savings estimates, or cancellation reminders are for convenience only and may not reflect your actual charges, taxes, fees, exchange rates, refunds, or billing arrangements.
6. Third-Party Services
unsub may allow you to record names, websites, links, or notes relating to third-party services. These third-party services are not owned or controlled by us.
We are not responsible for the content, terms, privacy practices, billing practices, subscription policies, cancellation processes, fees, refunds, or actions of any third-party service provider.
Your use of any third-party service remains subject to that third party’s own terms and policies.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree not to use unsub to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Misrepresent subscription information;
- Store unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or infringing content;
- Attempt to interfere with unsub, other users, devices, networks, or services;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any third-party account, system, or service;
- Use unsub in a way that violates the rights of any person or entity.
8. No Account Credential Collection
unsub is not designed to collect passwords, login credentials, online account credentials, credit card numbers, bank account credentials, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, biometric identifiers, protected health information, or other highly sensitive regulated data.
You should not enter such information into unsub.
9. Intellectual Property
unsub, including its design, software, features, text, graphics, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use unsub only for your personal, non-commercial purposes unless we provide written permission otherwise.
10. User Content
You may enter subscription names, notes, links, categories, and other information into unsub (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of any User Content you enter.
11. App Availability
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue unsub or any part of it at any time, with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that unsub will always be available, error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
unsub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, and reliability.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost savings, missed cancellation deadlines, subscription charges, renewal charges, overdraft fees, data loss, device issues, or any damages arising from your use of or inability to use unsub.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with unsub is to stop using it.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless khadijah tisean from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use of unsub, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to unsub if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, or used the App unlawfully or abusively.
You may stop using unsub at any time.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through unsub or other reasonable means. Your continued use of unsub after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
